While deer hunting the 2013 Ohio firearms season, a young coyote came in from behind my tree stand on a ridge line. By the time I was aware of him and turned around, he was already at 75 yards and going away. Seeing an opening I picked up him up in my 4X Leupold mounted atop my 12 ga. Remington 1000. I knew he was about 100 yards but had complete confidence in my equipment after extensive range work proved Lightfield Hybrid EXP were the most accurate of 8 brands tested. He dropped at 102 yards.
